Fluid Flow
The Flexflow system from Flexercell enables us to grow cells under conditions of steady or pulsatile flow. The device may be mounted on a microsope to enable real-time imaging to be done, including of cells transfected with GFP constructs.
The Linkam CSS450 optical rheology system is a parallel plate rheometer that is mounted on an optical microscope. This enables precisely controlled shear forces to be applied to cells while under observation. Single, or a small number, of cells can observed.
