The Consortium
The SMTC is:
1) A Research Group based around a Scotland-wide consortium of participants
2) A Scottish resource available for use by the commercial community
3) A Scottish resource to the academic community providing expertise and equipment that can be used on a hire or collaborative basis.
Our expertise ranges from clinical practice and clinical trials through cell and molecular biology, tissue engineering, scaffold manufacture and materials, laser systems, nano-engineering and finite elements modelling.
