Polarscope
The Polarscope is a computer controlled polarization microscope capable of measuring retardance down to 0.1 nm and azimuth to 1 degree at magnifications up to 1500 times and storing and processing the images acquired. The illustration shows fibroblasts growing on a gel. Orange and red areas indicate areas of high force generation.
