Tissue Engineering Scaffold and cell carriers are manufactured using techniques including:
- Extrusion techniques - precisely manufactured scaffolds with particular geometrics and material properties. The range of materials includes naturally occurring and synthetic polymers, inorganic materials and composites of these. Cells may be incorporated into the scaffold itself.
- Moulding techniques.
