The Zetos System
The Zetos System is a novel 3D Bioreactor (Zetos™) capable of maintaining human bone biopsies in a viable and responsive state for up to 45 days.
The Zetos can be used to:
- Maintain human bone and marrow outside of the body for studies concerning tissue function and drug discovery. Human bone samples can be mechanically stimulated,(excercised).
- Tissue engineering scaffolds and implant materials can be maintained under physiological levels of mechanical load either in the presence or abscence of cells (including human stells).
